Contemporary Leaders

A Swiss Non-Profit Institute for Executive Formation

About Ethica Christian Institute

Dr. Michele Vincenti

Ethica Christian Institute is a Swiss non-profit organization (Verein) based in Geneva, dedicated to providing executives and leaders with serious formation in the Christian contemplative tradition, not as religious instruction, but as a time-tested methodology for discernment, ethical judgment, and sustainable leadership.

Geneva has long served as a center for international diplomacy and dialogue. As a Swiss non-profit, we continue this tradition by providing contemplative formation for leaders operating at the highest levels of global responsibility, including diplomats, C-suite executives, public servants, and healthcare leaders from diverse international contexts.

We believe that the most pressing leadership challenges, navigating complexity across cultures, making ethical decisions under pressure, and managing attention in distraction-rich environments, require more than management techniques. They require wisdom, self-knowledge, and the capacity for silence.

The Christian intellectual tradition, from Ignatian spirituality to Thomistic virtue ethics, from Desert Fathers' wisdom to Reformation insights, from Orthodox hesychasm to contemporary Christian mindfulness, offers leaders exactly these tools. But accessing this tradition requires more than reading—it requires practice, guidance, and structured formation.

That's what the Ethica Christian Institute provides from Geneva to the world.

A Note on Our Approach

While rooted in the Christian contemplative tradition, this program serves leaders of all faith backgrounds and philosophical perspectives.

We teach universal practices for attention management, discernment, and ethical leadership, drawing from 2,000 years of Christian wisdom without requiring religious belief or practice.

Participants have included Christians, practitioners of other faiths, and secular leaders, all of whom have found practical value in these time-tested methodologies for complex decision-making.
